Miley Cyrus recorded her own version of the Grammy-nominated song two years later as part of her so-called ‘Backyard Sessions,’ where she invited her band to perform stripped-back versions of her favorite songs. During the next decade, she would roll out her version in live sets, with Dolly Parton joining her on occasion, and in 2019 the pair wowed at the Grammys in a Dolly Parton tribute that also showcased a number of other stars including Katy Perry.
