"Can't Get Over You" is a song from the soul band Maze. It was written by lead vocalist Frankie Beverly who started the group in 1970 as Raw Soul. They were introduced to Marvin Gaye, who besides inviting them to open for him on tour, also suggested they change their name to Maze. The band became an instant success in the US and also in the UK where they sold out eight nights at the Hammersmith Odeon. They released nine gold albums and continue to tour to loyal fans who often dress in white to honor Beverly who has often worn white on stage. "Can't Get Over You" is a song about regretting mistakes in a past relationship and realizing you'll never fully move on.
