Drinking songs have been a big part of Country Music for a long time but Kelsea Ballerini says "Hole in the Bottle" is her first-ever drinking song. The song almost didn’t make it on to “Kelsea”, her third album. Kelsea and some favorite songwriter friends went out to dinner to celebrate finishing up the album, drank some wine and came home and wrote "Hole in the Bottle" in what she describes as a “free and silly” jam session. After listening to the demo in the morning, Kelsea decided "Hole in the Bottle" would be a great addition to her album. The twangy fun uptempo puts a modern spin on the drinking song tradition. The backing track for "Hole in the Bottle" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental.
