"Swing the 60s" is a song by the Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers, a novelty pop music act from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, created by DJ and producer Les Hemstock. The track was featured in the 2009 compilation Swing the Mood - The Definitive Collection and later in the 2013 LP Let's Go Way Back... Way Back! (The Very Best of Jive Bunny). Just like the rest of the group's output, "Swing the 60s" is a medley of classic songs in the 1960s rock and roll canon such as "Do Wah Diddy Diddy" by Bo Diddley, "Pretty Woman" by Roy Orbison, "Needles and Pins" by Jackie DeShannon, "I'm Into Something Good" by Herman's Hermits, "Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones, "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks, "Keep on Running" by The Spencer Davies Group, and "I'm a Believer" by The Monkees. Though faithful to the original versions, Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers' rendition adds a subtle dance element to the mixes, infusing them with a modern edge.
