New Jersey singer-songwriter Jax penned this empowering ode to body positivity and scored her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. On "Victoria's Secret," she takes aim at the eponymous lingerie brand (although she later clarified that the track was designed to spark a general conversation about the beauty and fashion industries), proclaiming: "I know Victoria's secret / And, girl, you wouldn't believe / She's an old man who lives in Ohio / Making money off of girls like me / Cashin' in on body issues / Sellin' skin and bones with big boobs." Produced by Jesse Siebenberg and Mark Nilan, the song, which was accompanied by a flash mob filmed outside a Victoria's Secret store, was a pop sensation in 2022; a sonic exposé catapulting Jax to number 48 on the aforementioned chart as well as peaking at number 69 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart, 51 on the Canadian Hot 100, 25 on the New Zealand Hot Singles chart, and 41 on the UK Singles Chart.
