"How Great Thou Art" is a revered Christian hymn of Swedish origin, penned in 1885 by Carl Boberg, a Swedish poet and politician. Translated into English by British missionary Stuart K. Hine in the 1940s, it quickly garnered universal acclaim. The hymn rose to mainstream prominence when it was covered by Elvis Presley in 1967 on his second gospel album, also titled How Great Thou Art. Elvis' version was distinguished by its soulful and emotionally charged delivery, which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Sacred Performance. The song would go on to win another Grammy in the category of Best Inspirational Performance (Non-Classical) in 1974 for Elvis' rendition on the live album Recorded Live on Stage in Memphis. A new version featuring orchestral arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra was included in the 2015 album Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – If I Can Dream.

Music is somewhat slower than we are used to when singing it. But then, Elvis's version is his own interpretation so that too is okay. Who am I to question the Royal Philharmonic Choir.

Janet is a lyric soprano and chooses to sing with the orchestra without backing vocals. She downloaded it in the original key.
