Country-pop starlet Kacey Musgraves transformed the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love" for Australian film-maker Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 Elvis biopic, stripping the song back to an understated piano and vocal ballad that still retains the romance of the original. This pristine cover is used to soundtrack a scene in Elvis when Austin Butler, who plays the starring role, says goodbye to his daughter Lisa Marie while boarding a plane. This scene is shown in the track's music video, which also provides a snapshot of the stormy relationship between Priscilla Presley and Elvis.
