Shout 2000 - Disturbed - MP3 instrumental karaoke

On their debut studio album, American nu-metal band Disturbed covered the Tears for Fears classic "Shout," renaming it "Shout 2000" and bringing it to an era of music characterized by heavy guitars, pounding drums, and screamed vocals. At first, one might find this an odd match, but the song's sense of drama and lyrics that reference psychotherapy and screaming all work surprisingly well in a nu-metal format. "Shout" was written by Roland Orzabal and Ian Stanley, and was included as part of the Tears for Fears album Songs from the Big Chair (1985). "Shout 2000" was included in Disturbed's album The Sickness, produced by John Karkazis. By injecting the song with their trademark syncopated vocals and palm-muted, down-tuned riffs, Disturbed managed to make the song sound authentically their own while honoring the original recording. The Sickness was a massive success, hitting Number 29 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
