Cliff Richard channeled Elvis Presley on this rip-roaring medley for his Countdown Concert of 2000, which was captured live and immortalized on film. In "Elvis Presley Medley (live The Countdown Concert)," Cliff Richard pours his beloved voice into two much-loved Elvis rock 'n' roll tunes. The medley begins with Too Much,” which was written by Bernard Weinman and Lee Rosenberg, released in January 1957 and went to Number 2 on the US Billboard Top 100. It was also Elvis Presley’s fifth regular single record issue on the RCA Victor label. The medley then segues into "Don't Be Cruel," which was recorded by Elvis Presley and written by Otis Blackwell in 1956. The song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2002 and is widely considered a classic, covered by the likes of Connie Francis, Devo, Cheap Trick, Neil Diamond, Jerry Lee Lewis and more.
