"Up in Smoke" is a song by the Southern rock band Blackberry Smoke. The band collaborated with Randy Houser in writing the song. Houser, who'd co-written Trace Adkins' "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," suggested they come up with a song called "Blackberry Smoke," but the guys balked at using their band name. They ended up settling on the title "Up in Smoke." The song describes their life as a touring band, hitting a new town every night and burning it down. "Up in smoke, down in flames / Jump on up, rolling like a freight train." The hardworking band has been steadily building a loyal fanbase. They've hit the top of the charts with independently released albums and toured the world with Guns n' Roses, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
The backing track for "Up in Smoke" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
