Shania Twain is having herself a party and it 'ain't just any kind of party' – it's a party for two. On her fun-loving karaoke favorite, "Party for Two," which crackles with real-life chemistry, Shania Twain – who wrote the song with her producer husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange (to whom she was married from 1993-2008) – invites the song's subject to join her in an intimate party, which took the Canadian country-pop crossover pioneer all the way to the Number 10 in the UK and Number 7 on the Billboard country charts. Two versions of "Party For Two" were created and released: the pop version with Mark McGrath and a country version featuring Billy Currington, with the two tracks providing Shania Twain with a two-pronged attack on the charts and embodying her knack for crossover hits. Both versions of the song were included on her 2004 greatest hits album, Greatest Hits, which went to Number 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart and was the highest-selling country album in the US the following year.
