"Carol of the Bells" was originally composed by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914 with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky and became Hollywood famous over 75 years later after John Williams's arrangement of the song soundtracked the iconic 'setting the trap' scene in treasured 1990 classic Home Alone.
