Thank you for this video. Even seasoned vocalists need reminders like these . . . we can develop bad habits with time. Thank you Jeanne Deva, and Karaoke Version.

thank you for sharing! I have had problems warming up and getting to my proper abilities & at times I had to sing 5 songs before I could reach my potential. I think this may have been part of the reason.

I thought the blonde was pretty good. Get her to do the Evanescence vocal covers.

This is a wonderful tutorial/video. I always underestimate this element and don't warm up properly (preferring to think that the singing itself is its own warm up ...... but obviously not the case) Thanks for sharing with us all John

Where did you find this video ?
Nicely Done. I think some info is missing. For example, there's no direct info on how to form vowels or other sounds properly to avoid such tensions. The instructions are big on what consequence to avoid and why but little on actually how to avoid it by following more proper procedures in forming sounds. If I only know how to make sounds incorrectly, I see now what can be bad about that but I'm still not sure what to do instead. But, good video - comfortable, informative, causal: well done.

Hi, I teach singing in NZ and noticed something interesting as you work with this student. Many singers here struggle with a nasal tone, as the student was using your technique, she was forced to lift her soft palate more, therefore counteracting the nasal tone. Thank you for sharing this.
