Tribute to Nina Simone

April 21 is an important date for the history of music.

10 years ago, the world was losing one of the icons of 50's music, Nina Simone (whose real name was actually Eunice Kathleen Waymon). With more than 40 albums recorded, Nina Simone has left a deep footprint in the music culture.

The singer has crossed many genres (Blues, Jazz, Folk, Gospel...) while keeping her unique character and the tones of her voice.

It would be way too long to quote all her successful tracks, but we couldn't write this article without talking about her interpretation of Ne me quitte pas or also Feeling Good which has been more recently played by Muse

That's why we thought a tribute was well-deserved for such an important woman who will remain as one of the most talented female voices in music history.

      while Im sure nina simone was worthy of a tribute im big on tributes to rock and roll hall of fame members and I do wish that more of their songs were present 1. isley brothers 2. bobby Womack 3. run dmc
