Michel Polnareff is a french singer born at Nérac in July 3rd, 1944. He studies in the classical conservatory and then play on the street, joining the beatnik trend that he will help popularise in France. In 1965 he win the "Disco Revue" price and record his first disc "la poupée qui fait non" (the doll who say no) wich is a big success , then "Love me please love me". Then he start a new carrier in the United States with "Jesus for tonight" and go make a big tour. He records then the "Kama sutra" album followed by a live recorded at the Roxy.
He's now preparing another big tour, and we can hear his song through some covers due to Mylène Farmer and Cheb Khaled ("La poupée qui fait non"), Les Restaurants du Coeur ("On ira tous au paradis"), and the Star Academy.
