Formed in Naples in 2010, The Kolors comprise lead vocalist Stash Fiordispino, guitarist Alex Fiordispino, and drummer Daniele Mona. The band gained widespread recognition after winning the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2015 and went on to notch up hits with "Everytime" and the Elodie-assisted "Pensare male." Riding high off the success of their first Italian chart-topper in 2023, "Italodisco"—which also lit up the Top 10 in several countries, including Austria and Poland—the group kept up the momentum with their follow-up single "Un ragazzo una ragazza." "Un ragazzo una ragazza," which translates as "A boy, a girl," is a pulsating romantic dynamo that tells the story of a couple deeply in love, gleaning its funk-infused sonic influence from the Prince classic "Kiss" as well as harking back to Italo disco. The Kolors took 2024's "Un ragazzo una ragazza" to the 74th Sanremo Music Festival, Italy's Eurovision selection contest.
