"White Christmas" is the most recorded Christmas song. There are over 500 recorded versions of the much-loved Christmas classic. This version is from The Drifters. While many artists stay close to Bing Crosby's popular recording, The Drifters reworked the song into a festive doo-wop spectacular. The song features Clyde McPhatter on an impressive lead vocal which starts the song as a baritone and ends up as a tenor. Their version found a new audience when it was used in an adorable scene from 1990's Home Alone. Star Macaulay Culkin, fresh out of the shower and dressed in a towel, is seen lip syncing the song using his comb as a microphone. The Drifters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
