After forming in Iowa in 1992 and disbanding in 1997, Stone Sour returned in 2000 and quickly rose through the rock ranks to earn two Grammy Award nominations, both for Best Metal Performance, for the singles "Get Inside," (2003) and "Inhale," (2004). They whipped the scene into a frenzy, earning fans across the board with their first two albums, Stone Sour (2002) and Come What(ever) May (2006). Their third album, Audio Secrecy, arrived four years later and was dedicated to Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who had died earlier that year.
