On "Words," the song's heartfelt message is simple: "Words don't come easy to me / How can I find a way to make you see I love you?" The Europop banger was composed by French artist Robert Fitoussi aka F. R. David, who released the song as a single in 1982 from his debut album of the same name. "Words" reigned supreme in the European charts, claiming the number one spot in West Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, and Norway. In 2007, Spanish singer Soraya Arnelas Rubiales, known professionally as Soraya, put her stamp on the decades-old track for her hit Dolce Vita album, which achieved gold certification in Spain, reaching number five in the charts. The success of Dolce Vita and its 2008 follow-up LP Sin Miedo helped to boost Soraya's profile, and the following year she represented her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia with the song "La noche es para mí."
