"Sugar Soaker" is a song from American pop-rock band Panic! At the Disco's seventh studio album Viva Las Vengeance (2022). Even though the project started as a full band, lead singer Brendon Urie is the only remaining member from the group's original lineup. After scoring two back-to-back Number 1 albums with Death of a Bachelor (2016) and Pray for the Wicked (2018), Urie headed back into the studio in 2019 to start working on a proper follow-up. Viva Las Vengeance, the result of those sessions, was released on August 19, 2022, through the indie labels Fueled by Ramen and DCD2 Records. It was promoted through the title track and the singles "Middle of a Breakup," "Local God," "Don't Let the Light Go Out," "Sad Clown," and "Sugar Soaker." Very much in line with the album's retro feel, the latter is a devil-may-care glam rock number in which the narrator uses numerous car metaphors to describe his lover. It was written by Brendon Urie with Jake Sinclair, Mike Viola, and Morgan Kibby.
