"Prototype" is a song by Atlanta hip-hop duo Outkast, included in their critically acclaimed fifth studio album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (2003). Initially released as a double A-side single alongside Big Boi's "Ghetto Musick," the ethereal funk ballad was written and produced by André 3000 and appeared on the second half of the album, a sprawling collection of jazzy pop-funk songs titled The Love Below.
