"King of Kings" is a song Motörhead created for WWE wrestler Paul Levesque. Known in the ring as Triple H, Levesque asked the heavy metal band to create a new entrance song that would fit with his transition into an authority figure. Motörhead had previously recorded "The Game" for him. "King of Kings" was a particular favorite of Motôrhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister. The iconic band had been around for over 40 years, released 22 studio albums and sold more than 15 million albums. Levesque was a huge Motörhead fan, and after collaborating, he and Lemmy became friends. The band gained thousands of young fans who were never exposed to the music of the musical trailblazers. When Lemmy died on December 28, 2015, Levesque spoke at his memorial.
