Los Angeles rapper Mickey Avalon immortalizes the iconic actor, activist, and all-round trailblazer Jane Fonda in this prime mid-2000s hip-hop cut from his era-defining debut self-titled album, released via MySpace Records in association with Shoot to Kill/Interscope Records in 2006. "Jane Fonda" channels Mickey Avalon's self-described, salacious tongue-in-cheek "glam rap" as he turns her name into a catchphrase ("I know you wanna do the Jane Fonda"), alluding to a dance move (or something more sexual). Mickey Avalon's debut full-length was produced by Aaron Harris, Cisco Adler, Dave Cooley, Giuseppe Patanè, Sunny Levine, Dirt Nasty, DJ Ill Media and Tim Anderson.
