"One Mississippi" is a song Kane Brown from his album of the same name. The country artist was tagged by an unsigned Alabama writer named Levon Gray. After listening to his voice and one of his songs, Brown invited Gray to Nashville to see about signing him to a publishing deal. The two got together with songwriters Jesse Frasure and Ernest Keith Smith and came up with "One Mississippi." The title comes from a way of counting, one- Mississippi, two-Mississippi, that could roughly space out the time of one second between numbers.
