"Du bis das Letzte" is a song by South African-German Schlager singer-songwriter Howard Carpendale. Even though he began recording in the late 1960s, it wasn't until the late 1970s/early 1980s that the singer reached the peak of his popularity in the German-speaking world thanks to albums like Mein Weg zu dir (1979), Eine Stunde für dich (1980), and Hello Again (1984). Some singles from this period, including "Ti Amo" (1977) and "Nachts, wenn alles schläft" (1979), not only made it to the German Top 5 but also became classics of the genre in their own right.
