"Satisfied" is the eleventh song from Act 1 of Lin Manuel-Miranda's hit hip-hop-powered 2015 musical Hamilton, which is based on the life of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and which opened on Broadway in 2015. The forward-thinking song, which is sung by the character of Angelica Schuyler, originally performed by Renée Elise Goldsberry, kicks off with Angelica's speech from Eliza and Alexander’s wedding, before a clever rewind casts a whole new light on the song, plunging into Angelica's own perspective on events. "Satisfied" is one of the most celebrated songs on the Hamilton soundtrack, featuring tight, fast-paced rapping from Angelica Schuyler and an embrace of the musical's central theme of hip-hop retelling. A cover of "Satisfied" is featured on The Hamilton Mixtape, performed by Sia featuring Miguel and Queen Latifah and released in 2016.
