Pleasureman, his studio debut, came out in early 2004 and quickly spread like wildfire all over Europe thanks to the massively popular single "Ding Dong Song," a kitschy parody of 1980s and 1990s Eurodance music that claimed the Number 1 spot on the Swedish charts for three consecutive weeks. Based on the 1984 hit "Tralala" by Phil & Company, the success of "Ding Dong Song" was not only limited to Sweden—shortly after its release, the single entered the Top 10 in countries like Ireland and Norway, and reached Number 14 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Sung in a heavy German accent, "Ding Dong Song" gained popularity on video-sharing sites, where fans uploaded numerous lip-synching videos and parodies.
