"You're Crazy" is a song by Guns N' Roses from their debut album Appetite for Destruction. Slash originally started strumming the idea for the song on his acoustic guitar in the living room with bandmates Axel Rose, Izzy Stradlin, and Duff McKagan. When the guys plugged in to work on the song in the studio, it not only got louder but got faster, becoming one of the band's most frenetically-paced songs. The lyrics include a descriptive F word that wasn't in the original version. Singer Alex Rose threw the expletive in at a live gig when a crazy female fan tried to hit him with a beer bottle. The word appears in their recorded version but the guys decided to keep it out of the title because it could affect sales. They needn't have worried. Appetite for Destruction sold over 30 million copies and is one of the best-selling albums of all time.
