When Eric Clapton's shows at The Royal Albert Hall were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the determined artist assembled his band at an estate in the English countryside for a live concert video titled The Lady in the Balcony: Lockdown Sessions. The songs were performed without an audience, except for Clapton's wife Melia, who watched from the balcony. The setlist included many favorites, including "Layla," "Bell Bottom Blues," and "Tears in Heaven." Clapton said, "This one's for Peter" as he started "Black Magic Woman,"a song written by Peter Green, a founding member of Fleetwood Mac. The talented guitarist/singer passed away in July of 2020. The Fleetwood Mac version of "Black Magic Woman" was released in 1968. Two years later, Santana's cover of the song reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
