The song "Indestructible" was released as the third single from Disturbed's fourth album of the same name on September 29, 2008. Written by guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, and singer David Draiman, "Indestructible" was described by the heavy metal band as both "an anthem for soldiers" and a testament to the group's success in the music industry. Shortly after its commercial release, the song reached Number 2 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, Number 10 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, and Number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Indestructible" was also featured in the racing video game Midnight Club: Los Angeles, which was published later that year.
