Depeche Mode unbottled their trademark potion of deep, dark sensuality on this unconventional orchestral-led love song. Written by Martin L. Gore, "One Caress" encapsulates many of the themes driving the band's 1993 alt-rawk masterpiece Songs of Faith and Devotion, where tongue-in-cheek religious elements collide with gothic romance.
