The original version of "One More Try" was released by the late, great George Michael as the fourth single from his landmark debut solo album Faith in 1988 and went to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, the Hot Black Singles and the Hot Adult Contemporary charts while reaching number eight on the UK Singles chart.
