"Three Little Birds" is a song by Bob Marley. It is contained on his 1977 Exodus album and is one of his most popular songs. It is sometimes referred to as "Don't Worry About a Thing" or "Every Little Thing Is Gonna Be Alright" because those lyrics are repeated so many times. Marley sings of seeing three little birds in the morning and being filled with a sense of hopefulness and a feeling that everything would be alright. Many of Marley's songs came from his life in Kingston, Jamaica. His longtime friend, Tony Gilbert, who was present at the time the singer wrote "Three Little Birdsexplained the song's origin, "Bob got inspired by a lot of things around him, he observed life. I remember the three little birds. They were pretty birds, canaries, who would come by the windowsill at Hope Road." In concert, Marley would often refer to his female background singers as the Three Little Birds. This uplifting song has been covered by many artists including Billy Ocean, Richie Havens, and Maroon 5. The backing track for "Three Little Birds" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.

Just what I need to work on my strumming. Much more fun than a metronome :)
