Barbie Girl (Tiësto remix) - Aqua - MP3 instrumental karaoke

Jumping on the hot pink Barbie bandwagon, in March 2023 Tiësto dived in for his share of the Barbieland pie with this souped-up remix of the 1997 dance-pop earworm from the Danish-Norwegian Europop band Aqua. Notably missing from the official soundtrack of Greta Gerwig's 2023 culturequake aka the Barbie movie, "Barbie Girl" was given a beefy electronic makeover with the world-famous Dutch EDM DJ and producer keen to join in on the fun. It's the first-ever remix of the iconic pop song that was famously dragged back and forth through a lengthy legal dispute, with Barbie creator Mattel creator accusing Aqua's label of wrecking the image of Barbie. However, 25 years after the single's release, Mattel softened their stance in the name of Hollywood, licensing the song in the aforementioned 2023 blockbuster Barbie. The song was also sampled on "Barbie World" by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice, which appears on the movie's official soundtrack.
