Born and raised in Spirit River, Alberta, Canadian country star Aaron Goodvin upped sticks to Nashville at the age of 25 and set his sights on a career in country music. His first material arrived in 2016, "Woman in Love," with his breakthrough "Lonely Drum" following in 2017. Two albums and a Juno Award nomination for Country Album of the Year later, and he's logging trad-minded country songs left, right, and centre. The song was released as a standalone single in 2023 with neon-lit artwork showing a dance-ready pair of cowboy boots, poised for the floor. Aaron Goodvin went to number 49 on the Canadian country chart with the track, marking his 11th victory on said chart, following his previously released collaborative single of 2023 with Ryan Kinder, "The Longer I Live."
